Liposuction is a cosmetic surgery also known as lipoplasty, lipectomy, lipo or liposculpture.
It is a procedure in which fat is broke down and then sucked from the body.
The fat is removed through a hollow instrument, known as a cannula. This is inserted under the skin. A powerful, high-pressure vacuum is applied to the cannula.

WHAT KIND OF LIPOSUCTION IS BEST FOR YOU?
There are several types of liposuction:
1) Laser liposuction: Through a miniature puncture in the abdomen or thighs, the plastic surgeon introduces a special probe, which destroys the cells of adipose tissue with the help of a laser, and its remains are excreted from the body naturally. Laser liposuction is a common technique for performing such an operation, but its violation or inexperience of a specialist can lead to the formation of bumps or bumps on the skin.
2) Radio frequency liposuction: Another common surgical method for removing body fat. The main indications for performing radiofrequency liposuction are folds in the waist, buttocks and inner shoulders. During the operation, the doctor inserts electrodes through small punctures and, under the influence of electric current, the fatty tissues turn into an emulsion, after which it is pumped out using a vacuum pump. Due to coagulation of blood vessels during radiofrequency liposuction, all manipulations take place sparingly without loss of blood. Cons: in violation of the technique of performing the operation or the presence of naturally thin skin, the risk of burns or future bumps is high.
3) Ultrasonic liposuction: The problem areas are treated with ultrasound, after which the fat is removed through small punctures in the skin using a vacuum pump. Cons: High probability of the formation of bumps on the skin.
4) Vaser liposuction (Vaser): is the most common way to remove excess fat, during which adipocytes are destroyed by ultrasonic waves and pumped out using a special device. The cells taken in this way remain viable, therefore, in the future they can be used for lipofilling of the face or body. The use of this equipment requires microscopic punctures, so the integrity of the skin is practically not broken, the skin does not exfoliate from the fatty layers and is not injured.
